My fifth grade Global Studies class is doing a U.S. Postcard Project.  I am writing to friends and relatives that live in states outside of Virginia.  I am hoping that you can help me and my other classmates to learn more about the location of your city and state.  Can you please send me on a postcard and mail it to the address above listing at least two facts about your state?  The postcard must be postmarked by October 24, 2007 in order to be considered for the project.  Postmarked cards are essential to our project success.

I am hoping to hear from you soon.  Please include my name on each card you send.  Thank you for helping me with this learning opportunity.
